Accomplishments: Attended Calumet College of St. Joseph and earned Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. Attended Governors State University and earned a Master of Health Science in Psychology and Addiction. I am currently attending Walden University at University of Chicago in pursuance of a Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology. I will graduate 2010. I work in private practice with several other psychologists.

Accomplishments: Graduated from Andrean High School in 1982 and St. Joseph College in 1986. Received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Purdue Calumet in 1989. Taught for eight years in the public school system. In 1994 I became a Stay-Home Mom to be with my four young children. In 2001 I returned to teaching at St. Mary School in Crown Point where I am currently a second grade teacher. I love it! I truly feel that I have the best job in the world! My oldest daughter graduated from St. Mary's and is a sophomore at Andrean High School. I have a daughter in 7th grade and boy/girl twins in 5th grade at St. Mary's! I have been married for a year and a half to my wonderful husband, Tom! For the past eight years, I have been an aerobics instructor at the Southlake YMCA.

St. Mary Meant: St. Mary's has always been a tradition in my family. My parents sent all eleven of their children there, and most of their 29 grandchildren have attended or attend today! St. Mary's has a real family-like atmosphere. I take pride in the Christian Values that are held high at the school. I made so many great friends at SMS and have so many fond memories of classmates and teachers. I enjoy seeing the children of former classmates now in attendance with my own children at St. Mary's. It is a real community based school that has always felt like my second home. I am so proud to be graduate and even more proud to be a teacher at such a fine school!

St. Mary Meant: St. Mary's hallmark has always been its devoted teaching staff. By their very nature, these teachers truly cared about their students. The emphasis on religion and morality is not found elsewhere. Spending all those years with the same 40 to 50 people as you grew up established strong bonds and memories.

Accomplishments: After becoming a high school art teacher and principal, I moved on to watercolor painting. My cards and prints are in international circulation and I have a book published entitled JOURNEY OF THE SOUL.

St. Mary Meant: St. Mary's was the grounding place of my faith and lasting friendships. I was inspired by the Sisters of St. Agnes and became a member of the community.

Accomplishments:  Married for 47 years to Cuney Kaiser.  Have two children, Carl Kaiser and Sherri Ham.  Both graduated from St. Mary's.  We have four grandchildren, Jordan, Jusitn , Jackie, and Richele.  Jordan graduated from St Mary.  Justin and Jackie are enrolled at St. Mary.  Justin is in 7th grade and Jackie is in second.  Richele attends Mac Arthur.  I worked at Crown Point High School for 29 years as a secretary and registrar. 

St. Mary Meant:  St.  Mary's was a happy and well-structured school.  the nuns were so willing to teach and at the same time were friendly and concerned about everyone.  Father Hammes was very good to our family.

St. Mary Meant: I am grateful that my parents chose to send me to St. Mary's School because I received an excellent education both academically and spiritually.  I was also privileged to teach at St. Mary's for nine wonderful years and enjoyed every minute of it.

Accomplishments: R.N.  Director of Nursing for 17 years at an area nursing home.  Previously (13 yrs) Education Director and Assistant Director NSC at local hospital.  Also worked as pediatric nurse and instructor at Denver Children's Hospital and as Public Health Nurse in Chicago.  Married with 5 children.  Active in Archdiocese Council Catholic Women, my Parish Council, and Altar and Rosary.

St. Mary Meant: Had a solid religious education from the nuns.  Also found out from the good sisters that I couldn't carry a tune!
