Welcome
to St. Mary’s sixth grade. As children mature into early adolescence, they
cross the threshold from childhood to one of the most challenging periods of
their lives. Both at home and at school they are moving from an environment
where others (parents, teachers, etc.) have taken responsibility for seeing
that their educational needs are met to one where they find that they are
now the primary individuals responsible for the learning that will occur in
their lives. I’m looking forward to helping each child reach his or her
potential and facilitating their growth needed to meet the demands of the
world that lies ahead of them.
