Saint Mary’s Church prepares Roman Catholic children affiliated with Saint Mary’s Church for the Sacrament of First Reconciliation. This sacrament is ordinarily celebrated in Grade 2.
Preparation for the reception of the Sacrament involves the parents, catechists and children. Only children who have been baptized in the Roman Catholic Faith can participate in this preparation. If you have a child who is not baptized (or was baptized in a non-Catholic faith), please visit Order of Christian Initiation for Children
PREPARATION FOR PARENTS of children celebrating First Reconciliation includes a meeting on the evening of November 15, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in Hammes Hall.
PREPARATION FOR CHILDREN celebrating First Reconciliation includes a SPECIAL WORKSHOP (only for children!) on the morning Saturday, March 3, 2012 in Hammes Hall (8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.).
The Family Celebration of the Sacrament of First Reconciliation begins at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 with a Reception to follow in Hammes Hall.
