  Welcome to Third Grade!

We are very busy this year learning so many new things. We have been enjoying stories in our new Reading series and working in AR to "sail into the sea" with AR points.  We also can read SRA stories in our free time.  Journal writing is part of our daily work, and we will be writing poetry soon.

Third grade brings new learning experiences such as cursive writing, multiplication, division, and using the 6-Trait Writing Process.

Religion is an important part of our daily schedule.  Right now we are learning about the sacraments; soon we will begin preparation for First Eucharist.

We are very busy learning in third grade.
