Saint Mary’s School is an important part of our Faith Formation Ministry at Saint Mary’s Church. Our primary purpose is teaching our children to be followers of Jesus Christ in the Roman Catholic Tradition. To this end, instruction in Religion is included in the daily curriculum and the entire school community regularly attends the Eucharist. Other liturgical events are scheduled during the year.
St. Mary School offers grade levels Junior Pre-Kindergarten (for three year olds) through grade eight. St. Mary’s faculty teaches a rich curriculum supported by cutting-edge technology. Faith, Academic Excellence, Life Lessons, and Compassion are the pillars of the school. Students in all grades are provided with opportunities for service project and encouraged to participate in a long list of extra-curricular activities.
Day-to-day administration of Saint Mary’s School operates under the able leadership of our School Principal, Mr. L. Thomas Ruiz, who was appointed by the Pastor in 2006. The strong working relationship enjoyed by the Pastor and Principal is a blessing for the children served at Saint Mary’s School.
May God bless our minds to think our best thoughts,
Our words to speak kindly to one another,
Our hearts to feel compassion,
And our hands to reach out to one another in compassion and care.
I promise always to do my best and to treat everyone with respect and kindness.
I will follow the example of Jesus and his Mother Mary in all things.
