Each of our families have their own reason for selecting and purchasing a Catholic education for their children. We asked our parents to share their stories with us. Here's what they has to say...

We send our boys to St. Mary's because the most important thing to us is investing in their hearts. We believe that part of shepherding our children, is from the foundation up. Also, what we are teaching and ministering to our children at home, is being reiterated at school. We feel that our children's heart is more important then anything any money can buy. They're, our future. If we don't "invest" in our future, then where will that leave us? We are PROUD to be in a place that LOVES and genuinely cares for these children like their own. They certainly practice what they preach.

The crucifix that hangs in every classroom, reminding our children every day that God is in their lives. The sense of community. The "small school feeling" of a big school. The way people I don't even know will smile at me when I walk down the hallway. The knowledge that the teachers genuinely care about my children. And, of course, the high academic standards in almost all areas that assure me that my children will be well-prepared for high school.

Definitely a family-feeling environment. Both my husband and I are alumni of SMS and there are still a few teachers there from our days at SMS. It was like going home when we started sending Reilly there. My friends who have sent their kids to school all day for the first time have been so nervous and worried. We never had that feeling because we knew she was in loving, caring, and familiar hands!

With Christianity, prayer and references to God being taken out of everything, our reason for sending our daughters to St. Mary’s is the closeness we feel with Jesus and the ability to express that every day at St Mary's school. We continue because of the awesome education our daughter is getting and the close knit community at St Mary's. We are very appreciative of all the teachers and parents!

"St. Mary's speaks volumes about the high standards of what education encompasses. It is a great foundation for children. Academically, and spiritually, it represents great leadership skills. The whole "St Mary's Family" from the secretaries, nurse, principal, vice principal, and teachers show great qualities and many virtues, that most public schools do not show. The parents are amazing too! Very warm and receptive! My daughter and I were amazed on the second day of school. It was raining a bit. The middle school kids were helping the escort the younger kids with umbrellas. I was in awe! What a great example to all! WE LOVE ST. MARY'S! Everyone is the best! It is the best in education!
