Why I teach at St. Mary’s…
I enjoy seeing the miracle of life in each of our students…including God in each of the subjects…sharing a laugh with a second-grader…working with a tremendous individual and good friend…helping a child understand a difficult concept…praying…attending mass…being part of a caring and compassionate staff….
I graduated with honors from Bradley University with a bachelor degree in psychology.
I serve as a Eucharistic Minister for all-school masses. The weekly Martha and Mary Prayer Corner column for the Wildcat electronic newsletter is written by me. I am the CYO Diocesan Spelling Bee Moderator.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Tim for thirty-nine years. We have been Porter County residents for thirty-six years where we raised our four children. Tim and I have four grandchildren. We have been active members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Valparaiso for thirty-six years. Currently, I serve as a Eucharistic Minister. I am in my 18th year of being a Children’s Liturgy of the Word minister. Tim and I belong to our parish’s St. Vincent de Paul Society.
