Used Uniform Sale at Hammes Hall

One Day ONLY!!

THURSDAY, AUGUST 9^th

9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m and 5:00p.m.to 7:00p.m.

Pick-Up of all unsold uniforms is 7:00-8:00p.m. on Thursday 9^th-ONLY!

Uniform Drop-Off Days: Tuesday-Wednesday Aug. 7th-8th

9:00a.m.-1:00p.m. and 5:00p.m-7:00p.m.

Items Accepted for the Sale: Only clean, stain-free uniforms without tears, holes, or excessive wear which meet the Student Handbook guidelines will be accepted for the sale.  Please hang all jumpers, shirts, and blouses on wire hangers.  Skirts are to be hung on pant hangers.  Only hangers marked with owner’s name will be returned to owner.  Pants, shorts, gym uniforms, sweatshirts, and sweat pants in good condition may be folded.  Belts, hair accessories, and dress shoes in good condition will also be accepted. 

How to Tag and Price Items: Each item for sale must be tagged with a piece of 1x2" masking tape on the upper left (outside) part of the garment.  Please no pins, colored labels, or tags other than masking tape.  On the masking tape, please CLEARLY PRINT first initial, last name, boy/girl size of garment, and price (see diagrams above).    Pricing of items is up to the seller.  Remember, shoppers are looking for bargains!  Usually items for sale at the Used Uniform Sale are marked at 50% off the original retail price or lower.  For easier tallying, please keep prices in 25¢ increments (i.e 25¢ , 50¢ , 75¢ , $1.00, $1.25, $1.50...).

Pay-Out for Items Sold:  As items are sold, a running total for each seller will be kept by removing the masking tape on items and adhering them to individual  sales sheets.  At the end of the sale each seller will be given the total amount earned from the sale as well as any items that did not sell.

Uniforms That Don’t Sell: Please indicate to the volunteers on Uniform Drop Off Days if the items not sold at the sale should be returned to the owner, or donated to the school.  Donated items will either be used to make crafts for the Country Store during Spaghetti Supper, given to Just Like New Consignment Shop for an opportunity for St. Mary’s to make a small profit, or given to Salvation Army.  No unsold uniforms will be stored at St. Mary’s for future sales! All unsold uniforms MUST BE picked up immediately following the sale on Thursday August 9th. Any items not claimed will be donated to the school.

 Donated Items: No price-tagging is necessary on items in good condition that are intended to be donated to the school.  Please indicate to the volunteers on Drop-Off Days if items are for school donation and no payment is expected.
