Mrs. Michelle Sarabia
6B Teacher

St. Mary's Staff Since 2018

Why I teach at St. Mary’s:
I teach at St. Mary’s because I am an advocate of Catholic education. I am committed to providing my students with the same strong Catholic education I received growing up. I believe Christ should be centered at all stages of life. I am especially looking forward to attending Mass with my students, praying with them, and looking to Christ as our day-to-day role model. A strong faith will help us grow together to become the best versions of ourselves.

Nova Southeastern University
Elementary Education Degree K-6 and currently working on master’s degree in English as a Second Language and Bilingual Education through American College of Education.

Extra-Curricular Activities:
I have coached basketball at the elementary and middle school levels for the past 10 years. I have been passionate about the game since I started playing at a young age. I also enjoy watching football. This fall, I’m looking forward to watching my son play for the Greyhounds at the University of Indianapolis. At my previous school, I supported a student centered after-school Rosary making club. The Rosaries were donated to the Catholic community and organizations around the country.
